​‪‎Statup Nation partners with Startup ‪India: Embassy of ‪Israel is looking for the next hottest Indian Startup

We are happy to announce the upcoming Final Event of the 2016 edition of START TEL AVIV, India Competition. Partnering with TiE Delhi-NCR for the 4th cycle of the competition, we set out to find the new hottest startups in India, this time focusing on young women entrepreneurs. We have invited startups founded by women to join the competition and win an all-expenses paid visit to Tel Aviv, Israel to discover its world renowned tech scene and attend the DLD Conference to be held in September this year. Six finalists will present their startups at the Final Event on August 12th, before a panel of six jurors in an attempt to win this unique opportunity.

Start Tel Aviv India is part of a global annual event organized by the Israeli MFA and Tel Aviv Municipality that brings together technology startup winners, from 23 different countries around the world to take part in an intense, five-day startup experience. These startups will join local Israeli entrepreneurs and participate in lectures, workshops and meetings with leading Israeli – and international - investors and professionals.

Audio Compass, a Mumbai-based mobile travel guide, was the winner of 2015 edition. Gautam Shewakramani, Founder & CEO of AudioCompass, a company that turns smartphones into personal tour guides said, “Winning Start Tel Aviv gave us global exposure to other startups and entrepreneurs. We were able to share ideas and learnings from different markets. Start Tel Aviv enabled me to connect with innovative Israeli companies in similar fields to explore licensing and technology collaborations.”
